You can claim some kilos of compost once the first pile is ready (note that this will be one or two years after the project has started and the precise amount you can receive must be based on how much compost there is at that time). In the future I hope to lower the cost of "flushing down" by selling the compost that results from it.
As I mentioned previously; I am not sure if these prices are final, but for this fundraising campaign you can buy two months of "flushing down" at this price. This means that I will come by every week to collect full buckets for the compost and give you more sawdust and clean buckets to poo/pee into.
I will build you a similar toilet as the loveable loo made by the author of the humanure handbook for people who would rather buy than build.

All information about operational logistics as well as persuasive essays for why this is the right way to deal with human excrement is available on the website humanurehandbook.com (as well as related sites). Originally I had intended to give a free copy of the book to anyone who signs up for this "flushing down" service but I believe it may be more efficient to share a printed copy of [this booklet](http://humanurehandbook.com/downloads/HumanureManual2019.pdf) so that people may understand what the process entails.
When it comes to user experience then there is no difference except there will be no splashing water hitting your buttocks and you will have no SEP-field protecting your psyche from the guilt associated with putting random things (that don't belong there) into the toilet.
Please note that if we wanted to compost the sewage sludge of our current infrastructure then it would only take one person putting poison in the toilet (for example because it is clogged) for the whole sewage to be contaminated, therefore, even if you were to dry and compost it you would still get poisoned soil (as explained in the humanure handbook).
Instead of trying to defend the current infrastructure I suggest that you take responsibility for your shit and pay me to come deal with it in a responsible manner. Together we can start fixing the sewage situation in Iceland (currently the sewage is not even cleaned sufficiently before being dumped into the ocean).
The money will be used to register a company and find land to put the compost pile on. With the amount asked for I will only be able to lease it for a few years but I hope that will be enough to get started. If you have land close to the capital then please get in touch: ilmu@rishi.is.
I also encourage people who are not in the capital region to start their own compost pile and take responsibility for their excretions. If you are based in the city you can also bring the buckets back with you and I can handle it as usual.
The profit from running the company will go into developing datalisp, which is a lot more complicated to explain. I study mathematics and have worked as a programmer, for as long as I can remember I have been thinking about how to develop a social network that I would be willing to participate in. Now that I have a clear roadmap (albeit with quite poor explanations at present time; you can find more about the project here and here, the website datalisp.is will also be ready soon) I lack a financial base to work from. A long term vision for the company would be to hire teenagers who are interested in programming and have a drivers licence, we would split the responsibility of handling poop and during the rest of the week I would teach them programming and we could develop datalisp, this gives them a career in programming and me some help with the poop. Gas (for grilling or similar activities) can also be extracted from the compost pile if there are enough funds to set up infrastructure for that, this would make Iceland a bit more self sufficient in this regard.
